Brief introduction
GPRS Wireless Water Meter belong to high-tech smart water meter, using of advanced wireless remote transmission technology. It transmission metered information of conventional mechanical water meter to Cloud server via GPRS.
GPRS AMR water meter is a combination of GSM wireless access technology and Internet packet switching technology.
Automatically read the metering data via wireless remote network and control the close / open of the valve, and is also able to transfer the data to the back-office system (data center) after reading the meters by wireless handset reader.

Features
(1) IP68 protection grade: the structural sealing design is adopted, the sealing performance reaches IP68, and it can work normally in a humid environment;
(2) Ladder water price function: support monthly and annual charges, and update the parameters of the stepped water price with the user card;
(3) Valve maintenance function: open and close the valve regularly to prevent the valve from scaling;
(4) Abnormal valve closing function: when battery power failure and low pressure are detected, the valve will be automatically closed when the sensor fails, and the LCD screen will display the fault code for a long time;
(5) Anti-death watch function: if the user does not use water for a long time, the valve will automatically close, and the user card will be swiped to open the valve;

Communication and serve platform
1. Does the GPRS wireless water meter need a concentrator or a collector?
No, because the GPRS wireless water meter uses the existing GPRS communication tower for data transmission, which is similar to the mobile phone signal transmission.
2. How does the concentrator transmit data?
The concentrator needs 220V power supply and uses GPRS to transmit data to the PC platform.
3. How about the transmission distance?
GPRS water meter Under the GPRS signal, the data uploaded by GPRS water meter is not affected by distance.
4.How do you know that the water meter is out of order and there is no data to return?
First, we can check the alarm function on the platform to see that the water meter has no data return, and then check the installation environment to see if there is obvious damage, and can use the initiative to trigger the water meter to be on-line way.
5. Is the platform free? Can it pay in advance?
It is free, and the administrator can pre-charge the amount of money on the platform and set up user information files for each useron the platform and set up user information files for each user.
8. Warranty?
All meters will be guaranteed against defects in workmsnship and meterials for a period of one (1) year from the date of acceptance. Defective meters or parts discovered within this period shall be replaced without charge upon return to the S.H.Meters.
