What is the function of the check valve?

1. The check valve only allows the water in the water pipe to flow in one direction, which can well prevent the water from flowing in the opposite direction. Under the action of the same fluid pressure, the valve disc will open. If the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the flaps automatically overlap, cutting off the flow of water.

2. The water meter is equipped with a check valve, which can prevent the backflow of water well, thereby avoiding the rotation of the water meter and ensuring the accuracy of measurement. When the internal pressure of the water pipe increases and the water is compressed, the water meter will rotate forward. When the pressure drops, the check valve will close and the water meter will not turn. Therefore, when the pressure rises again, the water meter will not turn as long as the pressure does not exceed the check valve pressure.

How to install the check valve?

1. Check the appearance and brand of the check valve before installation. Make sure the product meets installation standards. It is tested for strength and tightness if necessary. Confirm that the quality is acceptable, and then proceed to installation.

2. During installation, the installation height and the direction of the in and out water flow should conform to the industry installation specifications. The direction of internal water flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow on the return valve, and the connection position should be tight.
